Mrs. Ivon Maria is one of the most leading piano teacher in Indonesia. At the ages of 6, She studied piano with aunty, Tan Fey Lan. Further she studied with Sophia Lestiawaty, So Kim Wie, Bubby Chen, Slamet Abdul Syukur, Taman Husein, dll.
She also studied at the saint petersburg Conservatory under Professor Leonid Tamoulevich, Professor Leonid Zaitchik, Prof. Alexei Sokolov in Rusia and Professor Hansjorg Koch from Germany, Mrs SlyviaThellung from Switzerland, etc. Mrs. Ivon Maria has taught piano since 1982. Today she has 15 assistants who teach at the Galaxy Music House in Surabaya and Jakarta. The School has a couple branches in Jakarta and its headquarter is in Surabaya

Played with the Osaka Philharmonic Orchestra-Japan 1993 International Youth
Chorus Festival.
Played Solo piano in London 1996 in the "Programme : Setting the Standard
- Benslow Music Trust,"
Sending students to Royal Music Examinations of London since 1982 until today.
Joined Numerous Music Symposium and Seminars in Europe and Australia.
Played with Bratislava Orchestra from Slovakia under Dirigent Prof. Jeurgen
Kusmaull-Slovakia in Austria piano festival, august 2003, by the Invitation
of Prof. Martyn vanden Hoek.
Mrs Ivon Maria
will give lecture at the WORLD Piano Techer Conference 10th of April 2005,
New York.
Mrs Ivon Maria invited as the Jury Member of International Piano Competition
in Italy 2005.
